Ragi Pakora With Drumstick Leaves

Ingredients

  • Finger millet flour – 1 cup
  • Bengal gram flour – 2tbsp
  • Butter – 3 tbsp
  • Drumstick leaves – 1 cup
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp ( can increase if needed)
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Water – for kneading

Cooking Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients in a wide bowl and mix everything together.
  • Sprinkle little water and mix thoroughly.
  • The dough should hold shape and crumbly in texture.
  • Heat a pan and add oil for deep frying.
  • Drop small portions of dough in smoking hot oil.
  • Cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. 
  • Remove the pakoras once the bubbles subside and drain on a kitchen towel.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
